Thumbs up one that Ebay win. A marquee under the $20 price is always a good one. From my knowledge, most cabs have no glass in front of the marquee at all. I bought a Joust cab and the marquee is held in place with a frame. I believe all (or most) cabs are designed this way. Unless you have alot of flying objects where you need to protect the marquee, I wouldn't worry about it getting scratched. Also be careful when cleaning marquees. I heard a story where a guy was going to clean his Tron marquee and placed it in a tub of warm water, after a few minutes the print came apart from the plastic of the marquee it's self. So I only clean mine on the outside (away from the print) with a damp cloth> For the inside (which hardly needs cleaning) just wipe LIGHTLY with a soft dry cloth. Wipe lightly to avoid scratching. Hope these few points help. ;-)

Good Luck and......Game On!

: Yeeeeeeahhhhh!! I bought this marquee off of Ebay quite some time ago, and it FINALLY came, the guy totally overcharged shipping but i payed so little for it it doesn't matter.

: For those of you hardcore arcade gamers, you should know that this is thought to be one of the hardest arcade games ever, and now I have the marquee! I told my bro in japan bought it, and he flipped out too. All I gotta do now is wire up the 2 light bulbs in the marquee, or buy a fluorescent back lighting, and it will shine like a king.
: I do have a question for everybody though, is it just my cabinet or do all cabinets have a plexiglass covering that goes over the glass marquee? It makes it so the marquee won't get hurt, but I was wondering if that was just because I have an offbrand rampart cabinet?
: btw, the condition of the thing is very good, very very minor scratches, I can do a little patchwork if anything shows through when in the cabinet, nothing hard though. It fits the blue color of my cabinet very nicely as well.
: god I love ebay,
