It is exactly what I wanted to post today. I have an NBA Jam TE cab that I am using for MAME. I have bought 2 IPacs already. I am not really sure how to use the software/hardware to set each button. I have already tested the one for normal mode, it works great. Anyone that has used 2 IPacs could give me an idea how to set it up.

: I'm getting my cabinet on Friday, and it's an old NBA Jam style cabinet. Just the style I want. I'm looking to do a 4 player setup so the control panel has 4 sets of controls. Each set will have an 8-way joystick, six standard buttons, a start button and then a coin button tucked away hopefully behind the panel so it doesn't sit on the control panel itself. I'd love to use I-PACs, but they have 28 inputs. Great if my project was only 2 players, but with 4 sets of controls, you get 4 inputs per joystick + 6 inputs for the standard buttons, + 1 input for start + 1 input for coin. That's 12 inputs per player, thus:

: 1 player = 12 inputs needed
: 2 players = 24 inputs needed
: 3 players = 36 inputs needed!
: 4 players = 48 inputs needed!

: I think I've heard it's possible to use 2 I-PACs, thus going from 28 to 56 inputs, more than enough for 4 players, but I'm not sure what would be involved in getting 2 I-PACs to work together on the same PC! Anyone ever tried this (2 I-PAC) approach, and if so, how'd it work and what did you have to do to get it to work? HELP NEEDED!!! Thanks for any (help) you can offer...
