Well I've decided I am going to go with building a spinner from Cheep's website www.cheeptech.com I realllllly like the way he did it, but I was thinking about how I was going to do the knob, I'll probably use a wheel like he's got there, but then I was thinkin about how cool it would be to put a tempest replacement knob on there. Only problem with this one is that the tempest spinner is 20 bucks plus 3 for shipping cause it's damn nice, very reasonable price for a new model, and a wheel is like 3 bucks from a local hardware store, and a wheel might be easier to use with this cheep tutorial, using the tempest might somehow be different than using the patio door rollers spinning wise.
I'd like to get some other people's suggestions, comments, etc on this. Does anyone have any other suggestion besides using a rubber wheel like in the tutorial? Or does anyone think I should just use a hard drive spinner and say screw it, although it might not feel as responsive?
Thanks,
CthulhuLuke
