The creative TVCODER have yes the Output for television (S-video & comp.) BUT have also a EXTRA RGB OUTPUT , with the right wires for the arcades monitors.

WELL YOU Know what is?! You can see WINDOWS (640x480) on Your Arcademonitor 15khz.
normally this is IMPOSSIBLE when You connect thesame monitor to Your SVGA PC-CARD!!
You can only See ARCADEOS on DOS mode!

Windows on a ARCADEMONITOR of only 15khz?! YES
and PERFEXT PICTURE...soo You can RUNNING EVERY THING , with 32 bit colors , Daphne,PSX,N64 and PC games...

What's the problem ?! the picture rolling , ancd also if you set the trimmer on the back , You not found a good set...litte to much...litte more...BAD!! the Monitor NEED a syncro external!!
For this I need a HELP with few componets to WHO know it!!!

: I have a dumb question:
: If the arcade monitor works good with your ATI card, why don't you use it instead of the Creative card?

: I went to Creative's site and this is what they had to say about the TVCoder:
: Creative TVCoder is a cost effective VGA-to-Video signal decoder system for low cost color video output. Creative TVCoder converts text, graphics and animations from the PC into video signal for output on regular TV or for recording onto VCR.

: From this I am guessing the output of the TVCoder was meant to go to a television. You would need something to process the signal back into something a monitor could use. If yours has a scart output, I do remember reading about a conversion from scart to arcade monitor but I have no idea where the page is.

: : : : Jimi,
: : : : I got my monitor working tonight. I was having the excat same problem you were having with the scrolling monitor. I re-stripped my wire ends and made sure they were all conected cleanly. I'd sugest you do the same and see what happens. Thanks to RandyT for sugesting this to me. Hope this helps you.

: : : My wires , my cable ,my monitor ...all...is perfect! My monitor NOT rolling IF I connect the PC on DOS...MY monitor ROLL only when I connect the ADAPTER CREATIVE..on the RGB port...the picture are GOOD but the Roll non stopped!
: : : For this I ask a help..I need a EXTRA connect/circuit for have again the right syncro!
: : : :
: : : : : Excuse my BAD english...
: : : : : I'have this problem:
: : : : : My ArcMon (Hantarex) work good with AOS (DOS)+mame on my SVGA card (ATI).
: : : : : Well ...I have also a little Adapter (CREATIVE TVCODER EXTERNAL 6011) with 3 output , 1) TV s-video 2) StandarVGA 3) RGB output....
: : : : : well the n.3 have the right functions for connect the monitor arcade , and see windows (640x480) 16 or 32 bit colors!...the picture is nice.but..yes ONLY one BIG problem! The picture roll all the time , and is impossible to adjust fine the trimmer on the back-monitor , because You never found a good regolation!!! So , The syncronism have a problem when I connect This CREATIVE adapter, My question...ANYONE know waht can I do , meaby with a extra little circuit for STOPPED this STUPID ROLLING effect?!?
