In Reply to: doing a little nes light gun hacking of my own last night and found out that.... posted by delta8 on January 07, 2002 at 14:14:22:

There are more NES light gun games. Here are a few others:

Freedom Force (very cool game)
Gotcha (capture the flag)
Barker Bill's Trick Shooting (so-so shooter)
Target Range (hard to find)

There maybe a few others I can't think of right this second. I collect NES carts so I have a ton of these games (near 500+). Good luck and please post any other info on your light gun testing. I have several I can mod to work in a cab. ;=)

Good luck and Game On!

: the gun first off never shots in the same spot 2 if it is mounted in a fixed spot...i triggered it without using the trigger...jumped the microswitch.

: is everyone messing with nes guns using duck hunt as there test prog...cause i have another game..mechkinized attack..pretty cool..oh and operation wolf... now the gun shots normally but in order to throw a grenade where you want it you point the gun at the right spot on the screen and press the A button. so this to me means that there are 2 means of input for telling the nes to fire and locate the little white square on the screen. and if you take the guts out of the casing you it will not work..to much interferance with other light.....oh and I was planning on hacking a nes and saturn to my cab...and pick up to namco recoil guns....one will have nes guts in it and the other sega virtua cop guts..dunno if the sega will fit but the nes light gun will work no prob.
: I also was wondering if anyone remembers the nes robot...r.o.b.??? it played gyromite and stack-em interactivly along with the players using the light gun somehow...just trying to bring up any and all light gun scenario i could think of....try to narrow out some variables.
