Windows Protection Error?

Hi Everyone!!
I have a problem. I'm running a PC that has a pretty much empty hard drive except for Windows98, ArcadeOS, and MAME. I've put ArcadeOS in my StartUp folder so it will automatically start up, but when ArcadeOS starts the PC says "Windows Protection Error. You Must Reboot Your Computer".

Any idea why it's doing this, or how I can fix it?
