Diagonals? Yes, in the grid bug fight you can move the player in a diagonal movement. Also in the MCP cone section. Tanks and Light Cycles can only move in a 4-way direction. The original Tron stick in a 8-Way. I have the cab. ;-)

: I think it is an 8way (none of the games can do diagonals.) But I've never had any trouble playing it with an 8way.
: As for the ikari types, you will loose some of it since they only point in 12 directions where the original was analog.
