: Well, I got a *little* closer anyway. Tonight I succeeded in controlling a power mosfet using the output of the Ipac numlock LED, and using Dave Widel's hack of DMame to send the recoil output to that LED (I really wish you'd release that code Dave! ;) Now I need to learn how to use a rectifier to convert my 24v AC power supply to DC... Anyone know if I could just use a diode to isolate the AC power from my DC Ipac? I really don't know what I'm doin here folks!!!

Use a bridge rectifier to convert the ac to dc. Make sure the brige rectifier can handle the amps. It will have 4 pins. 2 that are marked with what looks like a tilda ( ~ ). These are where you connect the ac. The other 2 pins will be marked + and -. This only part of your solution though. I would still recommend connecting some large value capacitors (capacitance wise (capacitor are rated in Farads or parts of a Farad)) directly to the + and - sides of the bridge. Make sure the capacitors are rated to accept AT LEAST 24 volts (preferably higher). The capacitors will help maintain a constant dc voltage level. Without the capacitors the voltage will keep bouncing between 0 and 24 like a bunch of rolling hills smushed together.
