It works perfectly under .56 DOS for me! No tearing, no glitches that I can tell (though I haven't played Moon Patrol at the arcade in months...)
Notes:
I'm using a Pentium 200 Mhz w/ MMX (so I doubt an under-powered computer is your problem)
Standard i586 build of DMame(DOS Mame) from Mame.net
On board Sis video w/1MB of shared mem.

: I have tried for YEARS to get Moon Patrol Working perfect! Is MAME not the best emu for it? I have tried TV Out, 21" Monitor, LCD, 27" Eygo Arcade VGA, and my Wells Gardner U3100 19" VGA Arcade monitor, and several computers. I have never got Moon Patrol to scroll perfect without skips (tearing). Other MAME and emus can play arcade games roms without skips. Has ANYONE got Moon Patrol (any rom version) working arcade perfect?
