I took a 6 foot 25 pin computer cable male to female, and cut it about in half. each of the 25 wires is a different color. I stripped them and hooked one set up to the IPAC and the other to my buttons and joysticks. (limited to 24 inputs per cable) It made it easy to hook the right wires to the correct inputs since the colors matched.

I did the same thing with another cable for my optipac but I reversed it so that off the optipac was a male cable and off the ipac was a female so I can never hook them up incorrectly.

Good luck!

: Has anyone else thought of using or used standard ethernet cabling and couplers for a way of using quick connects and/or swappable control panels? Granted, with only 8 wires, you'd need a few for a CP with a lot of buttons or different kinds of controls, but the simplicity of it would seem to make sense.
