I agree with your approach. However, since this undoubtedly gets the goat of all francophones around the world (including Louisiana and New England), I would like to clarify this little off-topic bit:

VIOLA - pronounced "vee-OH-la." A stringed instrument very similar to the violin, but larger and playing withing a lower range (a fifth down).

VOILĄ - pronounced "vwa-LAH." A French expression meaning "there it is."


I believe you wanted the latter. :-)
