Marquee holder options

Hi, several marquee questions:

I have the j-shaped marquee holders from happ. Can't quite figure out how they mount. I scanned the archives and there are some mentions, but they are too vague for me to figure out.

Second, I have a suspicion that these holders aren't all that great, and may make it difficult to get marquees in and out. Are there any other suggestions for a marquee holder? I was thinking of routing grooves in the bottom, left, and top, and being able to remove the top panel to slide in new graphics.. may be light leakage issues.
