Like howard said, if you're going to use the trackball a lot definitely go with the arcade trackball, and try to get one from like www.gatorcade.com if you want one cheap. I personally bought a 3" blue illuminating trackball from happcontrols.com because I'm going to use my trackball A LOT for first person shooters like Counter-Strike, Shogo: MAD (hellz yeah), maybe some Quake 3 Arena, and probably what ever other fps coems along. (first person shooter). The mame games that use trackballs are kinda skimpy, Centipede is DAMN fun though, but the huge trackballs are only worth it if you wanna play your games like that arcade game, The Grid. Having a trackball gives you a hella good advantage over other people too because you're aiming is so smooth, you can follow a guys head much easier than with a mouse. I played Golden Tee Golf the other day, and I really don't think an entire arcade trackball is really worth the money if you're going to be playing this game. It's fun, I guess, but not worth buying a huge trackball over. I've heard some ok things bout those Crystal trackballs, cause they light up and shiznit, but I've only messed around with those big Logitech and Microsoft ones, and I thought they sucked.
Good luck,
