I know your going to smack me for even asking, but did you check the configuration file to make sure it's pointing to the correct rom dir?
:My friend got an old Pentium 150 and I'm setting up dos mame for him. I have set the cfg file to tell mame where the roms are located and have tried to run mame from the command line and it's telling me there are missing files. And yes I have already gotten that CWSDPMI thing in there. like when I run
: mame pacman
: it sits there and processes for 30 seconds or so then says it can't find all the necessary pacman files. It does this with all the roms I put on there (about 20 old school games). I really have no idea what I am doing wrong here. I'm not a mame newbie (although I feel like it right now...). Anyone have any suggestions?
