The supers can change, but it takes a few minutes (and make sure you don't shoot that clamp across the room)

Anyway, the trouble with 8ways playing as a 4way.

1) The games don't know what to do. Some games it's not a problem, others the actions are just random (worst I think is frogger who will give extra jumps... DKong is a pain also and my boss would rather use a keyboard in pengo then my cabinet)

2) Mame software settings. In mame, you can say up not left not right for up. So no diagonals will be sent to the game. But this gives your controls big black holes in the diagonals. So the response goes down. Also, you think your going up but a little to the side so you sit still. IE, the control quality goes down.

3) Get the plates. Nice thing is that all the games play great and you know when your going up or down. No ifs. I would like to play with them to see if it takes getting used to since you cant rotate the joystick like the originals. But it doesn't seem like it would be a problem at all... just a little different. But I bet I go to the middle 95% of the time when changing directions anyway, so I might not even notice. This will be a great way to get real 4way play on small control panels or don't want a different location for their 4way or who don't want to change what they have.

4) get a 4way and an 8way. You have configuration issues (unless you use my frontend). Or you will have two joysticks with the same keys that might make a way for your opponent in SF to grab the 4way when your trying to make a move and mess you up (I've done it! Works great!)
