I wouldn't play racing games on an upright cab. My next project in the future will be a cockpit cab and it will probably include a psx and dc and a nice steering wheel that's compatible with both (act-labs prolly).

Another reason I was considering not doing it was the number of buttons required. I have enough on my panel for my pc and DC games but psx will require an additional 3. I was thinking I'd wire the coin door to select on my psx but that will already be used by my pc and if my pc is on when I play the psx that'll mess it up. Also I'm going to install pinball buttons on each side of the cab so if I put two on each side then that would cover it but again I have the same situation with them being wired to the pc too.

Just not sure.

: : DC is an awesome arcade console. But should I also add psx controls? I'm going to add a psx for to use for light gun games but should I even bother wiring up two controllers as well? [snip]

: : Just wondering if there are any great games that I'm overlooking that would be sweet on a cab that can only be played through my PSX. Anybody know?

: There are so many games that have come out on PSX and more still to come... If you estimate that 75% of them are crap, that 25% left still leaves an impressive number of good games, and maybe a quarter of them would be good on a cab. (Does Gran Turismo 1/2 count? I'd make a sit-down cab just for that, heheh)

: This is a serious question that takes effort to address. Would you play Castlevania SOTN or Thunderforce V, or Gradius Gaiden on a cab? What about Jet Moto? Raiden Project? International Track & Field? Crash Bandicoot? Motor Toon Grand Prix? Ridge Racer series?
