Oops..thats right. Sorry. Well again, I just recommend hacking PSOne dual analog sticks.

: The total control adapters let you use psx controllers on dreamcasts... not the other way around like you said. So there would be no need to hack DC controllers.

: I've considered this.

: : You could just buy two of those "total control" boxes that let DC joysticks work with PSX. Then no need for hacking PSX pads. If you do go and hack PSX pads, I suggest hacking the PSOne dual analog as its fully compatilble with PS2 (and still uses digital buttons). My old PSX pads don't work with most PS2 games :-(. One PS2 game that I LOVE playing in a cabinet is Silpheed. Classic overhead shooter, but with cool 3d effects.

: : : I have a 750mhz Duron with 128mb of Ram that'll run Mame, some pc games including pinball ones, and possibly other arcade emus. I also have a Dreamcast that's going inside. PC is wired via IPAC and Dreamcast via controllers. DC is an awesome arcade console. But should I also add psx controls? I'm going to add a psx for to use for light gun games but should I even bother wiring up two controllers as well? With the DC, I'm not sure how many arcade games I'd be playing on the psx other than the light gun ones. And let's face it, if it's not an arcade-like game, I'll be playing it in the living room on my roomate's 27" Sony Wega.

: : : Just wondering if there are any great games that I'm overlooking that would be sweet on a cab that can only be played through my PSX. Anybody know?
