These run fine on mine:

Athlon 1.4, 256 DDR memory, GeForce 2 MX400. I posted a link to your earlier message regarding where to get hardware - I built mine for under $400 with case and fans. Definitely go with the DDR RAM - much much faster than PC100/133 in running/loading ROMS.

CPU/RAM are the most important. The actual videocard doesn't have to be stellar, as long as it can perform triple buffering and hardware stretch without noticable performance hit. I use an eVGA Geforce to in my compu without problems, but the cabinet will have an ATI Radeon VE as it has better TV-Out. Mail me if you want more details:

: I have been toying with buying a new PC for my now finished cabinet and just wanted to get some feedback from people on this. Even with my p700/128MR/32MB Vid card none of the NBA Jams play for crap. Unplayable is more like it. Just too slow and jerky. My MAME PC is only a p300/128MB RAM/onboard video. Is is just MAME or is it really my computer(s)? I have never had any problems running any graphic intensive 3D PC games before.

: Can anyone run Maximum Hangtime or any of the NBA Jam roms at full speed? If so what is your computer setup: Processor/RAM/Video Card?

: Cheers,

: Ed
