Certain flavors of mame32 require you to put the -nogui switch in the command line. If emuwizard can do this than your all set!

: It runs the game you specify on the command-line, but it doesn't exit the GUI after hitting ESC :(

: : Thanks for the compliment :) I've never tried it with MAME32 since, like you said, it already has a built-in front-end. EmuWizard works with most emulators that take a command line (there are currently some exceptions), so if MAME32 can take a ROM name on the command-line, it should work.
