: : Just so you know even the actual arcade machine of Centipede suffered from stopping and stuttering when the trackball was spun too fast.

: : : I know this willl sound like a foolish question but are there other analog ajustments besides track x and track y sensitivity? I have 2 mame cabs that both have high speed computers(no frame skipping) and i cannot get centipede or tempest to have enough sensitivity without backspin. I thought it was in my mouse driver but i can spin the trackball faster than a jet turbine and the cursor won't backspin in windows. Start mame and i can get back spin by looking at the trackball wrong! i tried a ps2 mouse, no difference. (i am using an optipac) is there some sort of adjustment to make mame make the player ship "go faster" without turning up sensitivity? (just the ship, not the game, i know how to speed it up)

: : : Thanks in advance
