I gotta say I helped Dan test this out quite a bit, and belive me when I say this is the closest to a PERFECT frontend for me.

Customization is the key here, and the fact that it all has to be done by hand is no big deal. Once it's set, you never need to look at the INI again.

Features in this that I really love (and that I urge some of the other frontend authors to look at):

1) Fully reconfigurable keys (for all functions).
2) Toggle key that switches between "all" roms and each single emulator.
3) Ability to have a default marquee, screenshot, and flyer for each emulator (if one is not found).
4) Ability to add an unlimited number of emulators that support command line.
5) Fully skinnable interface (I didn't mind using an INI file to place the skin elements either).
6) List support - I like being able to list all my roms in text format instead of only having a graphical display.
7) Rom list display name - EmuWizard gives you the option of having a game display with a different name than its actual romname. So, for example, in Daphne, even though the rom is called "lair", you can have it display it as "Dragon's Lair".

And Here's my current wish list for EmuWizard that hopefully Dan will add in the future:

1) Better sendkeys support (right now it's a bit buggy I believe).
2) New skin element (graphic) for each emulator (so that each emulator can have a logo display depending on which view you toggle to, a MAME logo, Daphne logo, etc.)
3) Quick exit key logic - I believe Casto is working on this with Raging Dragon, but it would be nice to have a way to identify a "quick exit" key that would exit any emulator you start and take you back to the frontend (since not all emulators give you this feature).
4) More flexible emulator support - For example, right now, EmuWizard won't work with GENS for some reason - Can any programmers here figure that one out?

This is truly an EXCELLENT frontend and I recommend you all give it a try. Don't let the fact you hafta use INIs to configure it throw you off. Once you get it set up you'll be hooked.

Brad
