ATI's Radeon series does very well at 800x600. That is the max res for TV out, though.
: I finally got around to testing out my cabinet by placing my old outdated file server into it. The computer is a piece of junk, PII-400 with an nVidia Riva TNT card in it, and I was very nonplussed to discover that the TNT did not handle S-Video out at 800x600 well at all, especially since I had Windows XP installed and XP does not support a desktop resolution at 640x480. When I go to buy the video card for the computer I'm building for the cab, I need to make sure it supports 800x600.
