I ran a dowel to my base unit for the multimedia speakers. The dowel is attached to the volume control knob on the unit with duct tape. I drilled a hole in the top of the cab, behind the marquee and the dowel goes right through the hole about 1/2". That was how I saw volume control done on real arcade cabs, so that's what I went with.

: Hi - early cabinet stage here.

: Where do folks normally put a volume control on their cabinet? Does it make more sense to use the ~ key to control volume? What do real arcade machines use? A big knob on the side might be cool.

: Thanks,
