Anyone know what those transit-bus strip switch things are called? (for pinball tilt)

I was riding a bus in New York and noticed the pressure strips placed between the windows. You press on them when you want to get off, and they look like a black plastic strip. The entire strip is a switch that will connect no matter where you push it. I thought this would make a perfect tilt switch for VPinball (you could mount it across the entire front edge of your panel and bump it with your waist, and mount shorter strips on the left and right to slap with your palms.)

On the bus they said "press tape to signal stop". I've searched all over for 'tape' switches, pressure strips, strip switches, etc. Someone makes and sells these--anyone know the proper term, or know where I can get this or something similar? Anyone done this before?

Thanks!
