Now for something like pacman this would be more than alright, but shooters im not so sure.

Think about it.... your wanting to go up and to the right so you hold down the diagonals... that's 2 buttons... now your gonna be holding down fire the whole time, that's one more button.... now while firing you wanna fire a bomb/do a loop/ect oh wait your out of buttons!!

My keyboard hack worked fine, but I couldn't even play metal slug well with it becuase you could point and shoot or jump and shoot but you couldn't point and shoot while jumping. Also when I played gradius 3 my ship would stop firing when I activated an option or fired a bomb, which often led to a big hurt. :) It had similar results with similar games.

Just something to think about. I was all about the keyboard hacks until I bought my ipac... best 50 bucks I've ever spent.

: That would depend upon the keyboard but you should be ok.

: : As for non-fighting games (shooters, platforms, etc.), where you mostly press 2 or 3 switches at the same time, do you think a keyboard hack is on the whole as good as IPAC? Or IPAC is *much* better here too?
