Sorry about the repost. I posted this on the new board; I'm not sure if this board got to view it. Besides, I didn't get any replies. Sorry again.

1) Where do you get the 5 volts? I was thinking about using the light from the MadCatz dreampad, but I don't have my voltmeter handy. Do you guys think this would work, w/ perhaps a few resistors (or lack of them) to get the 5 volts needed? Or can you guys think of a different power source?

2) I read that if you have an *external* source of power, one would have to turn the source on and off ONLY when the DC is powered. This is shitty. Any alternatives?

3) From what I've heard, DC gameports break, especially w/ the Perfect 360. I was hoping to put a fuse along the cord for each directional so this wouldn't happen Again is this feasible?

Thanks

Jeff
