Well, I would prefer a 25" over a 19" any day. I bought a 25" TV with Svideo input and it looks awesome. I took it out of the case and mounted it into a piece of wood. If you want to mount it vertically I'd go with a 19" but if you want it for horizontal style games go with a 25". Monitors are always easier than anything else to hook up and they have a very sharp picture with MAME. But some guys complain that the picture is "too" sharp and that it loses that arcade feel. Remember though that with a PC monitor that a 19" only has a 17" viewable area and a 21" has 19"-20" viewable and so on. Hopefully that helps. -betacrash

: hello,

: I'd like to get a PC monitor with an arcade look and by all accounts it sounds like the Wells-Gardners are the way to go. But I can't decide which one to get. I'd rather not go over $300 and certainly not over $400.

: I've narrowed it down to these two:

: K7400 25" for $360
: or
: U3100 19" for $300

: Is the K7400 any good? Which would you choose? Is 19" plenty big enough?
: Oh, I forgot to say that I'm making a cabinet so there are no contraints in that regard.

: Now, here's another complication, I've got a line on a brand new 19" Neotec VGA monitor for around $100 (I don't know the model number). Is this a good deal? Should I get the 19" WG U3100 or the Neotec?

: I'd appreciate any help and advice!

: Thanks,
: jenny
