Help -- MAME in SFII:CE cab

I'm trying to run MAME with ArcadeOS (or, better, AdvMAME with AdvMenu, but I have no idea how to set the right modelines) in a SFII:CE JAMMA cab. I've had reasonable success getting ArcadeOS to run: it looks good and starts games, but when it triggers MAME the video is scrambled.

Running a P166 with DOS 6 and a SiS 6326 video card.

I've tried with MAME 0.37b14 and 0.58 (dmame) -- mostly worked with 0.37b14. I've tried loading the DOS driver for the SiS 6326 as well as AdvVBE and MON-ARC, but have yet to find a combination that's happy. Have tried various settings in mame.cfg for vesa1, vesa2b, vesa2l, and vesa3. The "best" seems to be vesa1 as it gives a picture, while the others give errors.

Anyone have a working config file and/or modelines that might work?

Many thanks in advance, Jay
